[Make sure you address the person...Diana]I need some help from you!! [You could also say: I need your help!] I currently live in Mexico. In the near future I plan to move to the US. I started my undergraduate degree about 10 years ago but the economy in Mexico was not doing so well and I had to quit school. (Private education is very expensive and school loans, either do not exist or the interest rates are outrageous; so you basically have to come from a wealthy family or pay in cash). Now that I have a more reliable economy [If you are taking about yourself you would say 'income'...if you are taking about the 'economy' you would want to say..."Now that WE have a more reliable economy".] I decided to continue my education, but instead of (remove "finishing") getting my diploma from a Mexican University, I decided to transfer my credits to a US [an American] college [or you could say " a collage in the states"] and now I am taking on-line classes from community colleges and from the University of Massachusetts (which is my final destination after I collect the required credits from other schools). The reason that I am writing to [you don't need 'to' here] you is because I have serious problems :) with my [don't need 'with my'] writing in English, I always get [remove "get"] panic when I have to write a report at work, an essay at school or even a simple e-mail. It is painful!!! I have lots of problems choosing the wording, whether it is: ing, ed; if I need to place a dash or when I need to add "up" "in" (sign-in sign-up, etc), organizing my ideas... you know, little things that are simple but makes [remove the "s"] me hesitate when typing. So, I was wondering if you know of any sites [You have to make the noun agree with 'any'..plural plural] or anybody where I can get help with my grammar and writing. I guess what I am looking for is help composing essays or simple paragraphs and then having somebody (or people, say a forum) where I can receive continuous evaluations providing me with guidelines and basics of grammar. I have looked into several [ "websites" is one word] already, but it seems that the common way to charge is per session, which doesn't really work for me because I would like something where I can have continual feedback. I think I need something where I can learn to write academic documents, type, type, type and then receive feedback. What do you think? What is your suggestion? What do you suggest?
