Diana,
I need some help from you!! I currently live in Mexico. In the near future I have plans to move to US. I started my undergraduate degree about 10 years ago but the economy in Mexico was not doing so well and I had to quit school (private education here is very expensive and school loans either dos not exist or the interest rates are outrageous, so you basically have to come from a wealthy family or pay in cash).
Now that I have a more reliable economy I decided to continue with my education but instead of finishing and getting my diploma from a Mexican University, I decided to transfer my credits to a US college and now I am taking on-line classes from community colleges and from the University of Massachusetts (which is my final destination after I collect the required credits from other schools).
The reason that I am writing to you is because I have serious problems :) with my writing in english, I always get panic when I have to write a report at work, an essay at school or even a simple e-mail. It is painful!!!
I have lots of problems choosing the wording, whether is ing, ed; if I need to place a dash or when I need to add "up" "in" (sign-in sign-up, etc), organizing my ideas... you know, little things that are simple but makes me hesitate when typing.

So, I was wondering if you know of any site or anybody where I can get help with my grammar and writing. I guess what I am looking is help composing essays or simple paragraphs and then have somebody (or somebodies say a forum) where I can receive continuous evaluations providing me with guidelines and basics of grammar.
I have looked into several web sites already, but seems that the common way to charge is per session, which doesn't really work for me because I would like something where I can have continuous evaluations. I think I need something where I can learn to write academic documents, type, type, type and then receive feedback.
What do you think? what is your suggestion?
-Arturo
1st Writing Lesson Side Note: The only thing I changed in this email was adding paragraphs. When Arturo wrote me before it was all in one block and difficult to read.
1st Writing Lesson Tip Divide your letters into smaller paragraphs. Usually containing the same ideas or subject. If you change the subject, put it in a new paragraph. It make it much more organized and easier to read. :)
