Join my free social community, the "Learn English Corner" now! Firstly this is a virtual ESL cafe, where you can relax, meet new people, share stories and experiences, all while learning English. You can practise all four skill areas (listening, reading, writing and speaking) during your time there. Improving Listening Skills:You will find free audio materials all created and recorded by me. Short audio conversations and stories will help you improve your listening skills as you use the site (listening to English while you work or play is a great way to improve listening comprehension). Other visitors are able to post audio as well, which will expose you to more accents and sources of audio material.
English Reading Skills:Not only will you be able to read new articles I’ve written, but you will also be able to read stories and blogs by other teachers and learners. Some might object to reading material written by other learners but it is actually a great way to exercise your proofreading skills. (Just like with the PIF program. Practice Speaking English:If you have a microphone record an mp3 file and upload it into the individual music player that everyone has available on their “my page”. Then, once your audio is posted on the site, you can ask people to comment on your speaking skills and pronunciation. What a quick and easy way to get honest and friendly feedback.Learn English Writing:
Here is the best part of all. You will be able to write as much as you like at the LE Corner. You can even make it a daily routine to visit your blog, write an entry and read other people’s blogs. You will also be able to leave comments for other people and start great
friendships as well.
