How can I improve my listening skills? Just like improving any skill (painting, driving or speaking), you need to do that action or skill to improve it. So in this case you need to listen in order to improve your listening skills.

There are many ways that you can do this. Some are outlined in my article "How to Study English". The first page outlines how to improve your listening skills. Then it covers speaking, reading and writing.

The main idea is that you have to listen in order to improve your listening skills. The more you listen the better your listing will get.
