How to Speak Quickly

by Gulya
(ukraine simferopol)

I don't know how to teach my students how to speak English quickly. They know grammar rules and have enough words, but their language is passive not active.

Hi Gulya, I'm not sure what advice you need. Could you give me some more details or specific questions you might have? It sounds like your students have good basic skills but have not been able to apply them well.

If that is the case I would suggest doing role-plays and allowing your students to use English. Having conversations or acting in role-play situations will allow your students to use their basic skills and vocabulary and apply it in real situations.

I hope that helps. In order to help you further I would need to know specifically what you are looking for. (Advice, teaching ideas, methods etc?)

Looking forward to hearing from you.
Diana
