Improve Spoken English

English Harmony: Improve Spoken English

Hi Diana. My name is Robby and I'm running a blog at englishharmony.com It's dedicated to those who want to improve their spoken English and I write about everything that has to do with improving English fluency.

I also have a regularly updated YouTube channel where I post my video episodes: www.youtube.com/englishharmony

Recently I came across your website and I think it's a really good English learning and improving resource. I'd be happy to do a link swap with you
and I already placed a link to your site on my blog's sidebar which says 'Learn English By Using It!'

I'd be glad if you linked back to my blog with a link that says 'Improve Spoken English'. Of course, if it's not fitting in the context, I'd be still OK with a link saying 'EnglishHarmony.com'.

Please let me know if you're interested, and also let me know if you want me to change your link's anchor text.

Best regards,
Robby Kukurs

Learn English Like a Native
by: Anonymous

I'm thinking about grammar. How can I acquire English grammar? Learning English grammar doesn't suit me, I have to acquire it as a native.

Yeah it's not easy but it's possible.

So what I must do from your opinion Diana? I will take all of your comments into consideration.

All of your advice is valuable for me ;)

What a great question. I think so many people would like to improve their grammar, but let's go one step further: Why do you want to improve your grammar?

Isn't your main goal to communicate in English? I would say that focusing on grammar might actually be holding you back.

I do like what you mention about learning English like a native speaker though. I think that when you do something you enjoy (in English) you will learn so much faster.

I can't really tell you what to do because there is not really one BEST way to improve. Everyone is different and you must find the best way for you. Try to focus on your strengths and use them to your advantage. - Diana
