Introducing ReadEasy

by Uri Avissar

Read Easy!

Read Easy!

Read Easy! Create helpful Click on any word for an instant definition

My name is Uri Avissar and I'm the CEO & founder of ReadEasy. I'd like to introduce you to a new web service my company has launched www.readeasy.com

I believe your site's visitors would greatly benefit from such a service. Be it if you review the service or not, your opinion as a professional in this field is important to me, so I'd appreciate to hear your thoughts of it.

What is ReadEasy?

ReadEasy is the next step in the evolution of dictionaries: a proactive and predictive dictionary system.

We enhance the reading experience of any English text by embedding personalized and contextually correct definitions ("Readlets") next to that text.

The Readlets are tailored to the user's knowledge level in the topic and language of the text. This combination allows for faster and better reading comprehension.

We currently generate Readlets from 14 Oxford dictionaries and intend to add more information sources in the next couple of months (There are examples of the resulting files on our home page at www.readeasy.com).

Thank you for your time and don't hesitate to contact me with any questions.

Kind regards,
Uri Avissar

Hi Everyone,

I just checked out ReadEasy and I have to say that I am quite impressed.

Once you sign up for a free account you can upload any text document to see some of the vocabulary defined in "readlets" beside the text.

It also enables you to click on any word to know it's definition.

I think that this could be a very useful tool for anyone who wants to read more in English with the help of an instant dictionary.

If you would like to download or print your new text you must pay a small fee (around a dollar) which seems quite reasonable. Or you can just keep your files in your ReadEasy library for free.

Thanks so much for telling us about your new site Uri!

All the best,
Diana

"Cannot find progress information"

I was not able to get any result from that page (readeasy.com)

After I upload a document, I always receive this mesasge:

"Cannot find progress information"

So I don't think this page works.
You would have to contact ReadEasy directly to find the answer to your problem. Best of luck. :)
