Just a "hi", and "good luck"
Yes, another foreigner settled down in a nice warm enviroment and drifted into teaching English thanks to diplomas and years of previous experience elsewhere.
I wish you good luck with your "virtual venture". I've never been the enterprising kind not as language or yoga teacher, nor as a photographer or anything else (translator by Cambridge, at computers since they were as big as the desk itself, etc. I always preferred to "do my bit and parcel of the work", and let others do the overall planning and management.
This morning I passed by (from Albacete)looking for a clear, "official" grammar confirmation of the right way of saying the date in English. One ten-year-old in the language school asked why I was saying "20th OF October" while her primary school teacher didn't put the "OF".
I wanted to find out before answering for sure... you know how much our daily (second) language gets "polluted and/or degraded" inadvertently.
All the best for you and your husband, students...and all of us.

P.S.: After 20 years I've gathered many little odd things that I use as I found they help in teaching some specific point. Thjings like graffiti, analogies, drawings, etc.
You seem much smarter than me, and also the internet has us spoiled of choice of those things, should we take the time to look for them. But... if you want to see two or three of those... just let me know; I promise I will only send 2 or 3... no avalanche. Promise.
I'd love to see some photos!! - Diana
