Past Continuous: A great Trip to Lake George.

Using the past conditional to tell us all a story about a trip to Lake George!! Great job!

Can anyone see any mistakes?

In the month of October, our family went to the Lake George along with the guests that came from the India.We were 14 people,which includes one two year old boy also.

We were planning a three day trip.On the first day we took a boat ride, which took us all around the famous river(forgot the name).while we were on the boat, acting silly,my brothers were taking pictures and making a movie.It was off season and raining, so, there were not so many young people on the boat.Probably,we were the only crazy ones running up and down.While riding the boat,we were making video of many little, beautiful islands.Although it was raining,the sun was peaking out of the clouds at certain times making color combinations look so amazing on the sky.

Second day,we took the seaplane ride.While we were waiting on the ground,my brothers,my guests,my uncle enjoying up in the sky.They were waving at us,screaming and having fun.Now it was our turn.I took a two year old boy with me and other family members.While we were on the
plane,the pilot was dropping the plane to scare us.

Third day,we went to the caves.=They were made from the volcano erupted lava (forgot the name).It was amazing.The guide was shutting the lights off in the cave, making it pitch dark.

Thenit was our turn. I took the two year old boy with me with the other family members. The pilot was dropping the plane frequently to scare us.

On the third day, we went to somecaves. They were made from volcano lava (I’ve forgotten the name). It was amazing. The guide shut the lights off in the cave, making it pitch dark.

What a great story. Excellent work. Take a look at my corrections and you will notice that there isn’t a specific error that you make over an over again. You use the past continuous very well. So in your case the best way to improve is to practise. Writing regularly in English is going to help you greatly!
