Past Continuous: The Dead Sea

by Marzouq Zyoud
(Amman, Jordan)

Taken by my wife

Taken by my wife

I was reading the newspaper when the an idea flashed in my mind. My wife was feeding our baby when I told her my suggestion that we should take a trip somewhere. While we were thinking about where to go,

We thought about where we wanted to go and decided to visit the Dead Sea, which is the lowest point on Earth and which has the most salty water in the world. We got took the bus there by bus. I was swimming while my wife and my son were laying lay on the beach and took pictures of me. It was sunny and the sea was calm.

Hi Marzouq!
What a great example of how to use the Past Continuous. Excellent work. I love your picture! My sister visited the Dead Sea as well and she said you could almost float on top of the water because of the salt. :)

Good work Marzouq! Which lesson are you going to do next? Giving me some instructions or maybe describing a situation?
I look forward to your next piece of writing.

Have a super day!
Diana
