Past Continuous: Vacation in Chichiriviche

I spent my week long vacation for a week at the beach with my family. My Family and I traveled in by car drove there by car. We rented a beautiful house at the beach.

The first day, I was making the lunch while my cousin swam in the swimming pool.

The 2nd day, we went to the Varadero island; there We was very wonderfully we had a wonderful time there. That night, I went to a restaurant. While I was waiting for a pizza my brother called me. I'd like to go there again. It was amazing.

Hi Heli, Great work. You used the past continuous a couple times which is great. I would suggest trying to add more detail to your story so that the idea's flow more easily.

How can you do this?
Think of the WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHEN, and WHY for each sentence. You could also add details about your thoughts, feelings, the weather, your surroundings and so on. This is a great way to increase your comfort when writing in English.
