Past Continuous: Water temple
by Aymen
(Tunisia)
After finishing our exams, we decided, my classmates and me I, to visit the 'Water Temple' as it is the nearest beautiful place to our institute. The 'Water temple' dates back to Roman times, and back then it was not a temple, but simply a grand large or impressive fountain.
It is located in a very mountainous place /region. But Before going there, we have decided to take the have dinner in a restaurant. After, we were taking the having dinner, we went to the temple and during the road to it on the way there/during the drive over/while we drove there/, we were telling each other jokes in order to forget about the stress of exams stress.
Great job Aymen!
You wrote a good short story about your trip to the 'Water Temple', and used the past continuous as well. Great work! I really like how you added a picture as well. Pictures make the stories more real and interesting!
Keep practicing Aymen!
