PIF: Ramu The Innocent Man

once there was a wood cutter named Ramu who lived very near to a river which was situated in the forest. He and his family lived there happily, name of his wife is Rani and they had only one child Rakhu.

Ramu had to take woods to the town which was nearly 22 km away from the forest to find his earnings. One day when he was cutting woods his axe slipped and fall into the river. He became very frustrated and depressed and began to start cursing himself. Seeing this a Godess appeared before Ramu who couldn't believe whether it was real or not.

Godess gave him a golden axe as he was sincere but he refused to take it and he told her that it wasn't his axe. Godess again gave him a silver axe but that time also he refused it . Atlast godess gave him his original axe he became very happy then. considering his innocent behaviour godess gave him other (golden and silver) axes too.
