The Importance of Willpower
by Bettina
You might have realized that I haven't
come back written for quite a long time.
This is because You have to know that's very it is difficult to continue writing on the blog without your encouragement. I'm not
as inspired as I am
on the in LEC where I've a real exchange with members.
I was seventeen, when I traveled for the first time by myself. I went to the sister town of my country by train. It was a very long trip. I went to Nimes, in the south of France.
I wasn't scared.
The My curiosity was more intense
as the than my fear.
I stayed there for only two weeks but I
felt immediately
fell in love with this wonderful town. I didn't know
one a single word
in of French but I was surprised to notice that I loved the sound of the French language.
There was It has a lovely rhythm
that I had never
heat heard before.
People were friendly and cheerful. The blue sky and the sun
was were delicious.
I was attracted by the variety of unknown flowers and trees.
I remember my sadness when I had to go home and I decided to live in France as soon as possible.
No matter was the fact I didn't even care that I couldn't speak French.
Back at home my parents and even my friends were horrified but
knowing my character they knew what I was like and, it was clear for them that I wasn't joking.
When I have something in mind I don't give up When I get an idea I never stop until I achieve it..
Every time I had the opportunity
to talk
ing around me about my dream to leave my homeland I did
it and finally nine years later it
was worth doing worth having.
I couldn't believe it! A French person who was working occasionally in Germany asked me if I still want
ed to live in France and he offered me a job.
This was the beginning of a new life, today I would never have the courage
to do something like that again but I was young, and full of willpower to start a new life.
Do you have alot of willpower? How does your willpower help you to improve your English?
