Venice

My favorite place is in Italy; this place is the capital of Venice and is known for its canals. That city is located with a group of 120 islands over the Adriatic Sea, near at the end of the rivers Po and Piave.

Those islands are linked by 400 bridges. The most famous bridge that his visit is required is the Bridge of Sighs (Italian: Ponte dei Sospiri, Spain: el puente de los suspiros). It passes over the Rio di Palazzo and connects the old prisons to the Doge’s Palace.

My mother told me that the name of this bridge was for the reason that when the prisoners cross the bridge they could see the beautiful Venecia through the windows and then they sighed because they could not leave. Other places that you can see in Venecia are Doge,s Palace, Ca’ d’Oro, Palazzo Foscari, Palazzo Grassi, Palazzo Labia, Scuola Grande di San Marco, Museo del Merletto di Burano and others places. And you can ride in a Gondola or by the Vaporetto (is the bus of Venecia).

And you don’t leave Venecia if you don’t test the famous pizzas of Italy and the Italy Ice-cream. And If you want to buy something to remember the place you can buy a piece of Murano in the old manufacture.

Venecia is charming place, and also is the place of the lovers, you don’t forget go to Venecia with your darling, although I went with my family when I was young and the place also is wonderful.

One tip: In English we say Venice. :) Great story Nika. I look forward to helping others edit it. :)

My favorite place is Venice in Italy; This place is the capital of Venice (Veneto??) and is well-known for its canals. That city is located among with a group of 120 islands over in the Adriatic Sea, near the end of the rivers, Po and Piave.

Those islands are linked by 400 bridges. The most famous bridge that is a must-see place is the Bridge of Sighs (Italian: Ponte dei Sospiri, Spain: el puente de los suspiros). It passes through the Rio di Palazzo and connects the old prisons to the Doge?s Palace.

My mother told me that the reason for the name of this bridge was called this because the prisoners across the bridge could see beautiful Venecia through the windows and then, they sighed because they could not leave. Other places that you can see in Venecia are Doge's Palace, Ca? d?Oro, Palazzo Foscari, Palazzo Grassi, Palazzo Labia, Scuola Grande di San Marco, Museo del Merletto di Burano and others places. And, you can ride a Gondola or Vaporetto, the seabus of Venecia.

You won?t cant leave Venice if you don?t taste without tasting the famous pizzas of Italy Italian pizzas and Ice-cream and If you want to buy a souvenir to remember the place, you can buy a piece of Murano glass in the old manufacturers factories.

Venice is a charming place, and also a place for lovers. You won?t forget going to Venice with your darling. I went with my family when I was young and the place was also wonderful.

Comments : I think that the first two sentences are not right because Venice is the capital of Veneto not Venice and it is better to be written: My favorite place in Italy is Venice.

In the third paragraph, the writer used ?The name? but I do not see any name before it. So, I think the name of the prison should be mentioned in the first sentence and then, the reason comes after it. - Nafis
