What does "pristine" mean?

I was wondering if you could take a look at this word “pristine” in the sentence below for me. What does “your grades need to be pristine” mean? Could you make it clear for me? Many thanks!
This script is from the Fox TV show Prison Break, have you ever enjoyed it ? :-D
LJ’s teacher: It's clear to me you've got a lot of anger, young man. Misdirected, it could land you in the wrong place. So, to make sure that doesn't happen, you're going to have to check in with me once a week. Fridays, one hour. Your attendance at school and your grades need to be pristine.
Hi Xin, Of course I can clarify this word for you.
First of all, pristine means that something maintains it's original purity; is uncorrupted or unspoiled.
For example, when you buy a new car and you haven't driven it yet...you could say that it is in pristine condition.
So when LJ's teacher wants LJ to have pristine grades and attendance it means that he wants LJ to have perfect attendance (100%) and excellent grades. That way, if LJ gets into trouble in the future, his school record will help him, not hinder him. I hope that answers your question Xin.
All the best,
Diana
