Why do you help people to learn English for free?
Are all the lessons from here free?

Hi Jane, That is a good question. Some websites pretend to be providing free lessons, but later you find out only the first 10 are free.

That is not the case with www.helping-you-learn-english.com

Here I am giving away free lessons, advice and motivation to everyone.

To answer your question, I am giving away things for free because I want to help people learn English. Most people can't afford to pay for a private tutor or one-to-one English classes so I wanted to create a website that would give you something close to having your own private tutor.

You might be wondering how I am able to devote so much time to my website. Well the truth is, is the website is my full time job. I do not have any other work.

I lost my job as an English instructor 3 months ago, due to the economic crisis and lack of demand, so to fill my "unemployed" time, I am working on my website...on my online business.

"Wait wait wait Diana!! You just said your lessons are all free. How can you be making money without anyone paying for your lessons?"

Right now the only ways that I make money are from donations from visitors and advertisements.

This does not make a lot (not enough to pay my bills) but it is growing slowly and I am positive about the future.

I am my own boss and making money from providing people information. I love working! I even wake up at 6:30 everyday so that I can work more. (I used to hate waking up at 6:30 to go to work!!) Now, I get to write about something I am passionate about (teaching English) and make money from it.

You might have heard about a lot of "get rich quick" offers out there (blogging, domain hosts etc) promising to help you make money online, but they don't work. I made the decision to create my website with a company called Site Build it (SBI) and I am so glad I did.

I started my website last year, with no technical know how, no html knowledge and just my experience and passion for teaching English.

Slowly, with the help, tools and support from SBI I was able to build a solid website/ online business that is growing and growing. (One that ranks well according to Alexa: 629,000).

Currently, I receive over 300 new visitors a day and that is only after working on my website for a year.

So to answer your second question,

Yes, all of my lessons are free.

In the future I might sell my own E-books, audio or materials but for now I want to focus on providing you with the best, free resource on the Internet.
