I've been learning English through effortless learning system from last 2 months. I never found it to be boring even after repeating it many times a day.

You can focus on different things every time you listen to it(pronunciation, accent and lot of other things). It's fun.

Moreover, I agree with AJ Hoge's repetition theory. Football players repeat the same kick for ages. I play guitar and I still repeat the same finger exercises which I use to do 5 yrs back.

Seeing a Pattern...
by: Jose

Hi Emily,
How are you? I just listened to the update with Pablo (which you can see on the here).

Looking at Pablo's reactions and the comments from other learners this is what I think...

Effortless English works...but it can be boring.

That is the idea that almost everyone who has left a message here has said. That doesn't mean it will be boring for everyone but it does create that impression.

So what makes something boring? This is basically when something is causing or marked by boredom.

One main cause of boredom is a lot of routine. Doing the same thing over and over can cause people to loose interest. I think that this is one of the major issues with Effortless English.

The course is based on the idea that you will be repeating the exact same thing, 5 times each week. That repetition is what makes the course work (and also boring or predictable).

What do you think?
