I did what you said

This is a perfect sentence.

"I" - is the subject of the sentence
"did" - is the verb of the sentence
" what you said" is the object of the sentence ('what you said' is the answer for the question did 'what'?)
So, no doubt. It is a sentence!

In a sentence the verbs following the first verb must be of the same tense of it, so your sentence is quite right.
