PIF: An unforgettable memory

by Thuy
(HCM city)

Well, I couldn't remember anything about the first time I went to school since i was just 3 yrs old at that time.

However, i had an unforgettable memory at the first day going to school after moving to HCM city ,when i was 9-year-old girl (i was born in a small town , it's take us 6 hours by car from there to HCM).

It was a nice sunny morning when my dad drove me to school. He left me at the gate and then a kind teacher helped me to find my new classroom. Coming there already, i realized that i was the only girl in my shirt and pants whereas others worn dress uniform.

In other words, i looked like any boy in the class , especially with my short hair style. In addition ,i was a little rustic not only due to my appearance but also my voice. Consequently, the other kids looked at me as if i was a strange creature from a certain far planet that made me feel very ashamed , with the result that i could not focus on the lesson and get acquainted with anybody as well.

i wished there would have been a hole to hide in... ^^ . when i came back home, i asked my mum buy me a dress immediately or i would stay at home forever...!!

an unforgettable memory

Well, I couldn't remember anything about the first time I went to school at hcm city.

However, I had an unforgettable memory at the first day going to school after moving to HCM city ,when I was 15 yrs old (I was born in a small town and it takes us 3 hours by car to get from there to hcm city).

It was a nice sunny morning when my dad drove me to hcm city to begin the school term. Everyone was unknown so I felt ashamed but the teacher helped me to find my new classroom. Coming there already, I realized that didn't have a uniform like other people.

In class,I didn't want to talk with people so I alway keep silent. I felt very difficult talking.
Consequently, the other kids looked at me as if I were a strange creature so i felt very sad. But some people talked with me and we became best friend.

This was a rough time but I had a lot of best friends.

In other words, I looked like any other boy in the class, especially with my short hair style. In addition, I was a little rustic not only due to my appearance but also my voice.

Consequently, the other kids looked at me as if I were a strange creature from a certain far off planet and that made me feel very ashamed. with the result that I could not focus on the lesson and get acquainted with anybody as well either.

I wished (wish) there would have been a hole to hide in. When I came back home, I asked my mum to buy me a dress immediately or I would stay at home forever...!!
