Yes I can :)

"To be" is an English verb. It has several different forms (be, am, is, are, was, were), depending on the time and person.

It is used to communicate many things, but these are the main ones:

1. exist:
There is a cat on the box.
Is there a problem?

2. happen:
The party is on Saturday night.
The meeting is in the other room.

3. located:
She is at school.
He was home.

4. shows identity:
I am Bob.
You are a singer.

5. Shows quality:
She is nice.
He is strong.
