Still can't speak English! TOTAL SCAM!!!

I just saw this comment this afternoon and I'd really like to know more about this person's experience. This particular visitor did not leave any details (no name either), and that leaves many questions unanswered..

Did they not use it everyday?
Was it boring?
Was it not at the right level?
Was it difficult to use?
Was the method totally useless?

I'd like to know exactly why Effortless English did not work for this particular visitor when other users have had such great success with it.

I know about Effortless English. Although he said something isn't true. For example: He find fault with other method. But I think almost you learn with teachers who is your native.

If you can learn with American and Britisher, I think it will better. In my country, many English center are those.

Students can speak and listen more and their skills improve fast. But cost of it is very expensive. I don't have many money. I want to learn Effortless because I'm listening and speaking very bad and I want to improve it and cost of it isn't very expensive.

I agree with Hugo. "Does it work or not? It's up to you. Really!!" I just checked in with Pablo after many months and Pablo hasn't been doing the course like AJ suggests (5 days a week).

Other things have come up. Pablo is now studying his Masters and learning English is not his top priority anymore. In the beginning he was very motivated and he used the course for 2 months straight.

But even during those 2 months he was only using the course 3 times a week, when AJ's study guide calls for 5 days a week.

Why wasn't Pablo doing the course 5 days a week? It was a combination of reasons (I'll ask him directly next weekend) but I am sure that one of them had to do with repeating the same content over and over again.

Like someone else mentioned... "The weak part about these lessons is they are very boring. Yes it is so boring to listen to the same lesson for about five days, and answer the same questions!!"

Ok...so repetition might bore you, but what happens if you stay motivated and keep doing it?

If you do repeat the lessons 5 times each week and you do that for 6 months you win!

You either greatly improve your English or you get a refund (and then some).

You really can't loose, unless you don't follow the study guide and quit.

What about you? Did you quit or did you keep going?

 Very good lessons but also very boring !!!!!

I have been learning English for several years, and bought "Effortless English" about four months ago, and here is my feedback:

1- They are good lessons in general.

2- The best thing about these lessons is they focus on listening, and this is a very important factor in learning any language.

3- The weak part about these lessons is they are very boring. Yes it so boring to listen to the same lesson for about five days, and answer the same questions!! Believe it or not, I couldn't complete even 4 lessons!!

This is a good point.

Some people might find Efforless English lessons too repetitive and boring to continue forward...and that is why the course might not work. Obviously, if you do not do all the lessons the course will not be effective. Do you think English courses should be this way? Boring but effective. It reminds me of a cough syrup called Buckley's..."Tastes awful and it works". Maybe English courses must be boring to be effective?

I personally do not agree. I think that courses must be interesting and fun to keep you (the learner) interested.

Why can't courses make learning interesting?

I've used his lessons for one and a half years. If you ask me "Does it work to use his lessons?". I can tell you that it's up to you.

In order to use his lessons, you have to make a strict schedule for study. You know it's a long story.:)
