What tense is this?

What grammatical tense is the following sentence in? I mustn't speak so fast.

This is the simple present. If you take away the modal verb and make it positive you get,

"I speak fast" = Simple Present.

Here you are saying that you need to speak slower so, "I musn't speak so fast".
