How to become a perfect English spaker
by: Robby Kukurs

Hi Oputa Jane,

The more perfect you want to become, the more mistakes you're going to make. That is the nature of the beast called fear of making mistakes!

Being too conscious of your speech has a huge adverse impact on your ability to speak correctly, and the answer to your questions lies within your mindset.

First of all, you need to figure out how to become indifferent to your students' remarks, but it could prove to be quite difficult, I guess. You either make a joke out of it, or just ignore it, which is easier said than done, but I can't see any other way for you to deal with it.

Secondly, prepare for each lesson thoroughly. Make a list of things or even a script of everything you're going to say and rehearse it at home. You'll find it then much, much easier to speak and that will boost your confidence big time!

Hope it helps,

Robby
