Hard to Undersrand When They Talk Too Fast in English

When speaking with some native English speakers, they start to speak too quickly.

I think it is because sometimes I can speak quickly, so they take that as an invitation to speed up.

What is the best thing to do, so that I can understand people when they talk too fast in English?

Just slow down!

If you find that the person who is conversing with you is speaking much too quickly, just simple ask them to slow down. It's pretty easy to say since it's just one syllable

How to understand fast English speakers

Hi Levy,

I'd say you just tell them to slow down a bit, or to say it again, simple as that!

The worst thing to do is to pretend you understood what the other person said - it's not effective communication at all.

Bear in mind that you don't have to be ashamed or feel embarrassed if you tell someone to slow down so that you can understand. If that person has any respect for you, they'll gladly explain their point in a slower and easier-to-understand manner.
