Personal Success Radio was back with a new name: Achievement Radio Network but sadly it no longer is online.

It is sad to see this free resource go but I still highly recommend listening to online radio stations on a daily basis.

Why?

Because you can learn English while learning something else, at the same time. That's why.

I am an advocate of learning two things at the same time. Much more productive don't you think?

I found their website in the winter of 2008, while I was working on my website. I started to listen to the radio station and I ended up listening to it for more than 2 hours.

It provided a variety of audio segments dealing with motivation, entrepreneurial success and positive thinking.

With the help of Google I am sure that you can find a similar online radio station to enjoy! Most of the speakers were North American but I heard some Australians as well. The audio segments were interesting, funny and REAL.

The speakers on many online radio stations speak clearly but at times you might feel like they are too difficult for you. Listening to any station while you do something else, can help you as well.

Try listening to Audiobooks Too!

If you do not find a radio station that you enjoy, you can pick and choose interesting audiobooks to listen to from audible.com.

They have an amazing selection on titles and authors and you can take the audiobooks with you everywhere.  Just download them onto your computer, phone, mp3 player and enjoy.

Even if you don't understand what you are hearing your listening comprehension will improve over time.

Online radio stations are an amazing free resource that allows native speakers to better themselves and allows people like you to practice listening to English as well.
